Description

Product Overview
LFL green gym artificial grass delivers a bright, uniform court surface with a customizable 12-15mm pile. KDK crimped yarn and high tuft density keep the surface level and durable, while colour, pile height and density can be tailored to your court.
Material & Performance
UV-stabilized KDK crimped yarn tufted at high density on a PP / net / PU backing, giving strong tuft lock, quick drainage and a clean, even court surface that holds its colour in full sun.
- Dense tufting – high tuft density keeps the surface level, stable and consistent for ball play.
- UV stabilizers – resist colour fading and performance loss under long outdoor exposure.
- Quick-draining backing – lets water pass through fast so the court recovers quickly after rain.
- Factory customization – pile height, density, colour, yarn shape, roll width and backing can all be tailored.
Key Performance Features
- Automatic Seepage – a perforated backing drains rainwater quickly so the court stays dry and playable.
- Resilient Under Load – the heat-set crimp returns the pile to shape after sled and equipment traffic, so the floor keeps its surface rather than developing flat lanes.
- Sturdy Grass Silk – dense, well-anchored tufts resist shedding under constant foot traffic.
- Soft & Comfortable – a stable, comfortable surface that is gentle on players’ feet and safe for play.

Why the pure crimped build suits a gym floor
A gym floor is loaded differently from a court. Sleds run the same few metres all day, kettlebells and medicine balls land in the same spots, and functional circuits put concentrated pressure through the same square metres of surface week after week. What decides whether the floor still looks and performs the same after a year is not the pile height — it is how the fibre recovers.
This surface is a pure crimped pile: every fibre carries the crimp and there is no straight-fibre layer above or below. That matters on a floor for three reasons.
- Recovery is even through the whole pile. With no layer boundary inside the carpet, the fibre that takes the load is the same fibre that springs back — so a sled lane does not flatten in a band while the rest of the floor stays upright.
- Cushioning without infill. The crimped structure disperses impact rather than passing it through, which is what makes the floor comfortable for floor work — planks, sit-ups, kettlebell and dumbbell work — and for training in socks or barefoot. No granule layer is doing that job, so there is nothing to spread, top up or sweep up.
- It stays visually consistent. A gym floor is seen as one continuous surface, so a shade or pile difference between rolls is obvious in a way it never is on a pitch. We hold the colour reference and the yarn specification for repeat orders.
The same construction is used for golf practice and putting surfaces, where the same two properties decide the result: a surface that recovers under repeated foot traffic, and one that stays consistent without infill. If your project is a training floor or a golf practice area rather than a court, tell us the use and the load and we will specify the pile height and backing to match — see our putting green and golf practice turf range.
