50mm Football Artificial Grass – Fixed Specification, Repeatable Quality

This is the 50mm football turf we build when consistency matters more than price. Every roll runs at a fixed 10,500 tufts/m² density with 13,000 Dtex S-shape yarn, on a perforated PP + net + SBR backing. There is no density window and no yarn substitution between orders: batch one and batch twenty are the same surface, which is what clubs, federations and contractors need when a pitch is installed in phases or replaced section by section.

At 50mm the pile gives a full, stable playing surface with predictable ball roll and reliable stud grip. The S-shape monofilament keeps the fibres upright under repeated cleat traffic, and the perforated backing drains rainwater into the base layer so the pitch returns to play quickly.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a fixed density matter?

A density window lets a supplier quote cheaper by quietly lowering the tufting. A fixed figure means the surface you approve is the surface you receive — on this order and on the next one.

Is this suitable for infill?

Yes. It is normally installed with silica sand and performance infill to the system design of your pitch.
