50mm Luxury Artificial Grass – LFL-STF24-09
This is the heaviest yarn we put into a 50mm landscape turf. The build runs 11,000–15,000 Dtex — the top of our Dtex range — in an Ω/ω profile that springs back rather than bending flat. Thicker individual fibres mean the lawn looks dense from a standing height and feels substantial underfoot, which is the difference buyers notice immediately when they compare two 50mm samples side by side.
The backing is the other half of the story: a double PP layer with a PU coating. PU gives dimensional stability, so a wide lawn keeps its shape instead of rippling after installation, and the double PP layer resists tearing when rolls are pulled tight across a large area. Density is specified between 13,650 and 16,800 tufts/m² depending on the finish you want.

What does Dtex change in a finished lawn?
Dtex is the weight of the yarn per 10,000 metres. A higher Dtex means a thicker fibre: the pile looks denser, stands up better under furniture and recovers faster after being walked on. This model sits at the top of our range.
Why does the backing matter on a large lawn?
Wide rolls pull hard on the backing during installation. A PP + PP layer with PU holds the tufts and keeps the roll flat, which is what stops the ripples and lifted seams that show up months later on cheaper backings.
